Beijing Municipal Bureau of Culture signs Strategic Cooperation Agreement

with US Rose Rock Group and APECF

 

On the morning of October 12, 2012, representatives from the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Culture signed Strategic Cooperation Agreement with the Rose Rock Group of the United States and the Asia Pacific Exchange & Cooperation Foundation. The signing ceremony was held in the National Capital Library in Beijing.  Mr. Xiao Pei, the Director of Beijing Municipal Bureau of Culture, Mr. Steven Clark Rockefeller Jr., the Co-Chairman of the Asia Pacific Exchange & Cooperation Foundation (APECF) and also President of Rose Rock Group, and Mr. Xiao Wunan, the Executive Vice Chairman of APECF attended the signing ceremony and made addresses.

 

The Agreement addressed establishing Beijing as a regional center for cultural and creative industries in Asia and the establishment of the Beijing Rose Rock Fund for Cultural and Creative Industries. These steps will play a positive role and be of profound significance for building Beijing into a city featuring cultural and creative industries with global influence.
