At 18:00 on July 29, 2026, Xiao Wunan, Executive Vice Chairman of the Asia Pacific Exchange & Cooperation Foundation, held a formal meeting with Kazimierz Marcinkiewicz, the 12th Prime Minister of the Republic of Poland, in Hong Kong. The meeting, along with the welcome exchange reception for the former Polish Prime Minister, was hosted by Dame Hong Ziqing, a prominent business leader in Hong Kong, with the aim of building a high-level dialogue platform between China and Europe.

During the talks, Executive Vice Chairman Xiao Wunan and former Polish Prime Minister Marcinkiewicz held in-depth discussions on topics including China-Poland bilateral economic and trade cooperation and two-way people-to-people and cultural exchanges, and reached a high degree of consensus. Kazimierz Marcinkiewicz is the 12th Prime Minister of Poland. He currently serves as Global Senior Advisor to Goldman Sachs, Senior Advisor to the Royal Family of the United Arab Emirates, Director of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, and Chairman of the Eurasian Chamber of Commerce. With extensive senior government experience and elite transnational financial networks, he is widely recognized as a pivotal figure bridging European political circles, international capital and the Asia-Pacific market.
